Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a newly created opportunity for a Senior Sales Manager within our Industrial Valve & Automation Business specifically around growing our automation business. This is a sales leadership role that will evolve, build and maintain a team in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Working with valve & automation vendors
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with an assigned customer base, including key accounts, always ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services
  • Knowledge of our competitors in each market
  • Joint calls in each area with Outside Sales Reps
  • Product training for OSRs and Sales Support
  • Relationships with Territory Sales Managers and Sale Team Managers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent job-related experience
  • Prior Industrial Valve automation industry experience is required
  • Experience in managing Industrial Valve Automation vendor relations is strongly preferred
  • Leadership and cross functional teams of people with a track record of delivering superior results
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining customer / client / vendor relationships
  • Comfortable with travel for sales team trainings, customer visits, etc.

    Pay Range : $7,949.70 - $17,325.00

    Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

    This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

    Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
