ER RN Job Details – Richmond, VA

Location : Richmond, VA (23225) – Virginia healthcare jobs

Setting : Emergency Department, Main Building, 1st Floor

Unit : 50 cardiac monitored beds & 8 Rapid Treatment Area

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 1 / 5 / 2026 – End : 4 / 6 / 2026)

Shift : 12 Hour Nights (19 : 00 – 07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,630 - $1,750

Employment Type : Travel Nursing – Emergency Room RN jobs

Weekend Requirement : Must be available to work weekends

Dress Code : Navy scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license – Registered Nurse jobs in Virginia

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Preferred : TNCC, ENPC, and previous experience in HCA facility

Strong teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department

Monitor cardiac patients using GE cardiac monitoring equipment

Utilize Meditech EMR for clinical documentation and patient management

Perform emergency department procedures and respond to rapid treatment needs

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including CNs, EDTs, and medics

Maintain a patient ratio of 4 : 1 during night shifts

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a busy clinical environment
