Job description

Radiology Interventional physician employment in Texas :

Interventional Radiologist

Details of the Interventional Radiologist opening in Corpus Christi, TX :

  • Anticipated Start Date : ASAP
  • 1099 Independent Contractor
  • Anticipated Schedule : Covering a 7- on / 7- off block schedule / Weekdays (M-F) on-site 8a-4p, then in-house call overnight / Weekends (Sat-Sun) 4 hours diagnostic reads (8a-12p) each day plus in-house call overnight
  • Weekday in-house call stipend - $4,500 per shift

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform a full range of image-guided IR procedures as credentialed
  • Interpret CT / MRI / XR / US studies; prioritize ED / STAT reads
  • Generate timely, accurate reports and collaborate with ED / hospital teams
  • Participate in QA, peer review, and standard hospital policies

    • Requirements :

  • MD / DO with completion of ACGME-accredited training
  • ABR board-certified / eligible; IR / DR certification preferred
  • Unrestricted Texas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Comfortable with high-volume ED diagnostic mix and in-house call
  • Active CPR Certification may be required
