Job Description:

The School of Management invites applications for two positions at the Assistant Professor level in Finance to begin Fall 2026, subject to budgetary approval.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct high quality research and contribute to the intellectual environment of the area.
• Teach two courses per semester at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Contribute to the School, the University, and the professional community by actively engaging through service by involvement in committees, shared governance, and review services.

The salary and benefits package are competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. To support faculty research, SOM provides summer funding for the first three years of service.

The start date for the position is August 17, 2026.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Finance or a related business field or will complete all degree requirements by July 1, 2026.
• Applicants must demonstrate the ability to conduct high quality research through publications, working papers, or work-in-progress.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching, co-teaching, or assisted in teaching any undergraduate or graduate-level courses in Finance.
