Assembler - Manufacturing

Position Summary

Primary responsibilities of this position include having a good working knowledge in the use of precision hand tools and measuring equipment and can-do assembly work on automation projects with no supervision. Provide guidance of Tier I Mechanical Assemblers to assist in their progression.

Essential Job Functions

• Ability to complete assembly work on automation project to print specifications.
• Ability to work with project team members to complete work on time and under budget.
• Ability to do plumbing (hydraulic, pneumatic, or lube) to print specifications.
• Ability to use the necessary precision equipment / tools as required and assist in the building of automation equipment.
• Ability to use other tools, i.e., manual mill, lathe, and surface grinder to produce quality parts to print specifications.
• Participate in the debug and customer runoff activities of automation equipment.
• Participate and offer feedback / recommendations on issues in project / floor meetings and assist in maintaining the whiteboard issues list.
