Primary Purpose : As an Account Manager, your role will involve promoting and selling our products and services across a designated area. You will generate leads through various channels such as telemarketing, social media, local events, and direct interactions with property claims professionals.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Create and maintain valuable relationships with clients and partners.
  • Support the growth of new partnerships and ensure a smooth transition for new client programs.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of prospect operations to identify marketing opportunities.
  • Identify necessary expertise for meeting prospect requirements and gather resources for proposals.
  • Utilize company resources effectively in preparing responses to RFPs and presentations.
  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive annual sales plan targeting potential clients.
  • Generate sales leads through direct communication and attendance at industry events.
  • Engage with property claims adjusters and managers to expand business within your territory.
  • Maintain meticulous records of daily activities in our CRM system.
  • Analyze customer needs to expand our client base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to respond to market changes and customer feedback.
  • Present at conferences and participate in local claims association events.
  • Handle various projects as needed.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and objectives.
  • Discover new market opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within states including MA, VT, ME, NH, and RI.
  • Capability to sell multiple business lines focusing on property claims.
  • This position allows for potential residence anywhere within the defined territory.

Additional Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support our organization's quality improvement initiatives.
  • Qualifications

    Education : A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

    Experience : 3 to 5 years of experience in outside sales within the property & casualty claims sector, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

    Skills & Knowledge :

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Strong analytical and interpretative abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Proven track record of meeting performance metrics.
  • Work Environment :

    Mental : The role requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, discretion, and the capacity to handle stress and multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

    Physical : Frequent computer usage and travel as necessary, with the ability to drive for up to 4 hours each day.

    Auditory / Visual : Good hearing, vision, and verbal communication skills are essential.
