Location : Annapolis, MD or Easton, MD (Hybrid flexibility available)

Position Overview

The Tax Senior will play a key role in preparing and reviewing complex individual and business tax returns, assisting with tax planning and research, and supporting client relationships across a diverse portfolio. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, estates, and trusts

Conduct tax research and provide planning strategies to minimize client tax liability and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax projections and estimates

Manage and prioritize multiple client engagements and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail

Review work of junior staff, providing mentorship and technical guidance

Communicate directly with clients to address questions, resolve issues, and provide proactive tax advice

Support partners and managers with tax planning, IRS correspondence, and other special projects

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; Master’s in Taxation preferred

CPA license or active CPA candidacy required

3+ years of recent public accounting experience in tax preparation and review

Strong understanding of federal and state tax compliance, research, and planning

Proficiency in tax software (e.g., UltraTax, CCH, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
