Human Support Services, a non-profit community mental health agency located in Monroe County, seeks part-time Mental Health Professionals (MHP) and Rehabilitative Services Associates (RSA).

Duties :
We are looking for dependable staff to teach daily living skill to adults with Mental Illness in their homes and communities. Successful applicants must be able to :
Empower and support individuals to live self-directed livesTeach independent living skills including but not limited to, cooking, cleaning, hygiene and emergency readinessPromote Health and Wellness, including passing medicationSupport individuals in building and maintaining healthy friendships and relationshipsTeach coping skills and provide support to individuals in crisisHelp individuals gain access to community resources and participate in community eventsMaintain accurate, concise, current clinical documentation as required by state and federal guidelinesPerform medication monitoring practices (MHP only, not RSA)The Mission and Vision of Human Support Services is to help all people live their best lives and we envision a community in which all abilities are embraced and everyone is encouraged to pursue their greatest potential. Requirements :
Must be 21 years of ageHave five years experience in this field or a BA degree (MHP required, not required for RSA)Must have valid driver’s licenseAbility to drive a van or willing to be trainedWilling to drive in St Louis and the Metro EastAble to lift at least 50 pounds and walk flights of stairsPresent High School diploma or GEDConstitution to handle body excrementsMust be emotionally stable enough to react appropriately to a individual in crisis
