Job descriptionEmpower and support individuals to live self-directed lives Teach independent living skills including but not limited to, cooking, cleaning, hygiene and emergency readiness Promote Health and Wellness, including passing medication Support individuals in building and maintaining healthy friendships and relationships Teach coping skills and provide support to individuals in crisis Help individuals gain access to community resources and participate in community events Maintain accurate, concise, current clinical documentation as required by state and federal guidelines Perform medication monitoring practices (MHP only, not RSA) Must be 21 years of age Have five years experience in this field or a BA degree (MHP required, not required for RSA) Must have valid driver’s license Ability to drive a van or willing to be trained Willing to drive in St Louis and the Metro East Able to lift at least 50 pounds and walk flights of stairs Present High School diploma or GED Constitution to handle body excrements Must be emotionally stable enough to react appropriately to a individual in crisis
