About The Position

Job Title : Electrophysiology Technician

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : 2 years of experience required in electrophysiology, RT-EP experience required.

License : ARRT license and KBMIRT License required.

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale required.

Must-Have :

• 2 years of experience in specialty
• RT-EP experience
• Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted
• One reference from a charge nurse or supervisor required

Description :

The position requires 2 years of experience in electrophysiology.

Experience as a registered technologist in electrophysiology is essential.

Cases may include ablations, loop removals, cardioversions, devices, and lead extractions.

Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale are mandatory.

Candidates must hold the appropriate ARRT and KBMIRT licenses.

The role involves call requirements of 1-2 weekends in a 6-week schedule and 1 call per week.

Candidates will potentially float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby.

Compliance requirements include passing competency exams related to electrophysiology.

Previous charge experience is preferred, as well as experience with patient ratios and charting systems.

No license hits will be accepted for this position.

The employer will verify rehire eligibility prior to onboarding.
