• 1 year minimum experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Patient ratio of 6 : 1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No call responsibilities
• Floating within facility / scope of practice as needed
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including general medical surgical and peritoneal dialysis
• Daily census of 36 patients
• Skills include continuous bladder irrigation, isolation precautions, telemetry, pre / post hemodialysis management, and renal failure care
• Work with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Holiday policy : work one major holiday if one falls during assignment, work both if two fall during assignment, work two of three if three fall during assignment
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• GA or Compact license required at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract Facility : This hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a focus on quality patient care.
