• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) : $20,000 Sign-On Bonus

Primary Purpose

Administers anesthesia and anesthesia-related care from pre-anesthetic patient assessment and evaluation through post-anesthetic patient follow-up, evaluation, and care, formulating and carrying out anesthetic patient care plans in collaboration with attending anesthesiologists to facilitate quality patient care, comfort, and satisfaction during diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities :

1. Maintains and implements knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws, and guidelines that impact or govern nursing practice and ensures the hospital and Parkland are in compliance.

2. Develop effective internal controls that promote adherence to applicable state / federal laws and the program requirements of accreditation agencies and federal, state, and private health plans.

3. Maintains and updates knowledge of sanitation, infection control, safety, supplies, equipment, and appropriate utilization of supplies and materials.
