About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse (RN)

Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years of current med surg / tele experience required

License : State License (Vermont)

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

• PCU experience strongly required
• Drip experience required
• Minimum 3 months previous travel experience required
• Willingness to float to any inpatient unit within the scope of practice
• Supervisory reference from within the past two years of employment

Description :

This is an adaptive acuity unit.

On occasion, travelers will be asked to provide PCU care (3 : 1 ratio).

This requirement is non-negotiable and may not be refused.

Holiday requests will not be considered for this position.

All available time has already been reserved.

Nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 5.

The unit has 25 beds.

Charge experience is preferred.

ICU experience is strongly preferred.

Small critical access facility experience is preferred.

Traveler must have their own vehicle for this position.

Any and all requests for time off must be included in the profile.

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

Facilities will not approve scheduling requests after the time of offer.
