Job Description
The UI Technical Services Assistant Director will provide ongoing subject matter expertise and assistance in the management of all technical operations within the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Division in Columbia. In this role you will review and implement UI policies and procedures, as needed. The UI Technical Services Assistant Director will also provide training and technical assistance to UI staff. The selected candidate will serve as an UI Technical expert in the operation of the UI Benefits and Tax Systems. There will be extensive involvement and coordination with vendor leadership teams to resolve defects and implement business process enhancements.

Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience analyzing business user needs, assessing technical solutions, and translating business needs into functional requirements and specifications for system changes.
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations, and guidance governing the unemployment insurance program.
