CT / Radiology Technologist – Rapid Placement\n\nLocation : SageWest Health Care\nStart Date : Within 2 weeks of offer\nShift : Nights – 7 on / 7 off\n\nPosition Summary\n\nUnder general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the CT / Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic CT and radiographic examinations utilizing appropriate imaging equipment.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\nVerify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness.\n\nObtain, verify, and update medical history; assess patient risk factors such as medications, pregnancy, and psychological indicators.\n\nExplain exam procedures, potential side effects, risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients.\n\nSet up and operate imaging equipment to acquire accurate diagnostic images.\n\nReview images, document exceptions, and communicate relevant data to the radiologist.\n\nRecognize and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.\n\nProvide post-care instructions as prescribed by the physician.\n\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives related to patient care, safety, and workflow efficiency.\n\nProvide training and guidance to students, residents, and new technologists.\n\nBe available for on-call or standby coverage as required.\n\nPerform Radiologic Technologist duties as needed.\n\nFacility & Role Requirements\n\nCertifications : \n\nARRT Certification in both CT and Radiology (must be attached to submission)\n\nBLS (American Heart Association only) (must be attached)\n\nExperience : \n\nMinimum 2 years of recent CT and Radiology experience\n\nMust be able to work independently\n\nEquipment Proficiency : \n\nExperience with GE CT and X-ray machines required\n\nSchedule : \n\nNights, 7 on / 7 off\n\nAdditional Notes : \n\nRapid placement – candidate must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer.\n\nSageWest coversheet must be included with submission.\n\nSubmission Template\n\nEmail Subject Line : \n(SUBMISSION) - (CANDIDATE NAME) - (FACILITY NAME) - (SPECIALTY) - (POSITION ID)\n\nEmail Body : \n\nYears of Clinical Experience : \n\nYears of Travel Experience : \n\nEMR Experience : \n\nCertifications on File : \n\nPrevious Employment at a Community Hospital Facility?
