Regional Medical Director, Primary Care Position Summary :

• Role : Regional Medical Director, Primary Care
• Location : Based in Bristol, CT
• Scope : 50% Leadership Administration, 50% office-based, outpatient Primary Care
• Schedule : Full-time
• Teaching : Optional with faculty appointment
• Phone Call Only : averages only 2 call weekends per year and 1-weeknight ~ 2 months
• Offerings : Guaranteed base, Executive incentive plan, Loan repayment support , Sign-on bonus, Relocation

Role Details for the Regional Medical Director, Primary Care Position

Work with senior leaders to develop Primary Care strategy and translate that into effective operations to meet the goals of the organization and system.

Responsible for oversight, administration and management of physician and APP provider staff.

Responsible for quality monitoring and improvement and standardization efforts, using the tools and infrastructure available including key data dashboards.

Responsible for hiring new provider colleagues, as well as overseeing orientation and onboarding activities for all new hires.
