Requirements :

• Minimum 1 year experience as a diesel mechanic OR a degree / certification applicable to the job duties
• Monday-Friday day positions available at our Mascoutah, IL shop
• Available shifts : 5am-1 : 30pm, 7am-3 : 30pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm
• Bring your own tools
• Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred)

Duties :

• Performing mechanical repairs of heavy-duty diesel trucks
• Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs
• Welding
• Road test Vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are properly working
• Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, temperature and pressure gauges
• Identify warranty repairs
• Document all work on work orders
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Other duties as assigned
