The Duval County Clerk of Court is seeking a motivated Data Analytics Engineer with experience in data analytics particularly in the Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating and managing data pipelines in Azure and working with medallion architecture. This role suits a strong self-starter who is eager to learn solve problems and support the Clerks data initiatives.

Candidates with strong foundational skills in SQL data modeling and scripting who are eager to learn cloud analytics tools are also encouraged to apply.

Examples of Work

• Design develop and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Azure (Synapse Analytics Data Factory Data Lake).
• Implement Medallion architecture (Bronze-Silver-Gold layers) for structured data flow.
• Write accurate and performant queries in SQL Server; validate and troubleshoot data
• Performs data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data integrity.
• Automate tasks and process data using Python.
• Identify and resolve data issues independently.
• Collaborate with departments to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
• Ensure adherence to data governance security and compliance policies.
• Validates and ensures data accuracy in reporting systems.
• Develops Power BI dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
• Research solutions and communicates findings and recommendations effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
