Job descriptionProviding direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting Conducting assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, and determining treatment plans Collaborating with Attending Physicians and Nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes Managing and documenting all patient interactions accurately within the EMR Maintaining compliance with facility and state healthcare regulations Performing other duties, as needed Bachelor's and Master's Degrees Active NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and / or Physician Assistant (PA) license ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certification Active DEA registration Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills 2+ years of Emergency Medicine experience Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
Job Description
A healthcare facility in Central New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and / or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Emergency Department. This is a long-term travel opportunity offering flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment.
About the Opportunity :
- Start Date : ASAP
- Assignment Length : minimum of 6 months
- Shifts : Days or Nights
- Schedule : 7 shift per month
- Hours : 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am
- Setting : Emergency Department
- Patient Volume : 35 patients per day
