As an Allied Universal Security Officer assigned to an upscale residential location, you will focus on access control responsibilities to help maintain a secure environment for residents and guests. Your role includes monitoring entrances and exits, conducting regular patrols throughout the property, and providing exceptional customer service while responding to security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, helping to deter unwanted activity and promoting a welcoming atmosphere. Pay Rate : $17.87 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AMSun12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the residential location.
  • Verify the identification of individuals entering and exiting the premises, maintaining accurate logs as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and address any security-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with property management and local authorities as needed to report and resolve incidents.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide reassurance to residents and visitors.

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • A valid security professional guard card is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
