MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Skills

Must be proficient in CT and X-Ray

Must be able to perform :

Diagnostic radiology and CT scan procedures

IV insertion and contrast injections

Strong independent judgment and critical-thinking skills

Ability to troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, PACS systems

Must demonstrate :

Excellent written, verbal, and Tiger Text communication skills

Strong infection control knowledge per OSHA and facility standards

Ability to operate PACS, HIS, and RIS systems

Completion of :

Annual mandatory education

All department-required competencies

JOB DUTIES

Perform a wide variety of technical radiology and CT procedures.

Apply appropriate skills to support accurate diagnosis.

Provide proper patient care according to hospital and departmental policies.

May receive independent assignments from Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, Operations Manager, or NARH Facility Director.

May supervise or instruct personnel as assigned.

Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

SCHEDULING & RTO POLICIES

RTO must be included at profile upload.

No more than 5 days RTO will be accepted (less is preferred).

No RTO approvals after submission.

HOLIDAY REQUIREMENTS

Travelers MUST work one of the following holiday blocks :

Option A :

Christmas Eve

Christmas Day

Friday / weekend after Christmas

OR

Option B : New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Day

Friday / weekend after New Year’s

Note :

Assignments or extensions that end in November or before holiday week in December will not be eligible for extension into early 2026.

LOCATION REQUIREMENT

Berkshire Health System will not consider travelers living within 50 miles of the facility.

Permanent address must be included with submission to avoid delays.

COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS

COVID vaccination required with dose date on or after 10 / 3 / 23

Exemption forms require :

Provider signature (medical)

Religious leader signature (religious)

Approved exemptions must wear a mask onsite

Include vaccine card or exemption-intent at submission

PAY & MULTIPLIERS

Non-Billable Orientation : 8 hours

Holiday / OT / Callback Multipliers : 1.25×

Call Rate : $4 / hr
