ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Autoclave and process instruments, ensuring daily biologics and sterilization logs are completed accurately.
• Maintain autoclave equipment, documenting weekly and monthly maintenance per regulatory standards.
• Mentor and guide Medical Assistants to ensure competencies are completed and maintained annually.
• Collaborate with leadership and providers to ensure procedure schedules are optimized, time slots are filled appropriately, and cases are condensed for efficiency.
• Coordinate complex procedures ensuring all resources and staff are prepared.
• Ensure procedure center runs smoothly by proactively managing workflow, staffing, and patient throughput.
• Step in to assist with daily tasks and patient care during staff callouts or PTO to maintain coverage.
• Address patient or provider concerns / complaints professionally, escalating to leadership when appropriate.
• Participate in leadership and quality meetings related to clinical operations.
