Associate Director – Structural Engineering | Orlando, FL
We’re seeking an Associate Director to partner with the Director in guiding teams, delivering landmark projects, and shaping the future of Florida’s built environment.
This role blends technical expertise with strategic leadership—impactful, rewarding, and designed for progression.
What You’ll Do :
- Lead Major Projects – Direct design and delivery for complex commercial, residential, and institutional buildings.
- Partner in Leadership – Collaborate closely with the Director to drive office strategy, team operations, and client success.
- Develop the Team – Mentor engineers, review technical work, and foster professional growth across the office.
- Engage Clients & Stakeholders – Build trusted relationships with architects, contractors, and developers to advance projects and firm visibility.
- Drive Business Development – Support proposals, networking, and market growth initiatives.
- Champion Excellence – Ensure technical rigor, QA / QC, and innovative design solutions on every project.
What You Bring :
10–15 years of structural engineering experience (Florida experience preferred)PE license (Florida or ability to obtain)Proven success leading complex, multidisciplinary projectsExpertise in steel, concrete, wood, and masonry designProficiency with ETABS, RAM, RISA, and RevitDeep knowledge of Florida Building Code, IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACIStrong leadership, communication, and collaboration skillsWhy This Team :
