Responsibilities Work in a hospital setting across various ICU units including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, and Neuro ICU Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am Every other weekend required, totaling 2 weekends per month Mandatory floating between multiple ICU units and may float to MS units as needed Level 1 Trauma Center environment Uses Cerner EMR system; prior Cerner experience is preferred First week will include day shift orientation and a precepting shift Must comply with strict floating policies and may be assigned to facilities within a 50-mile radius No block scheduling or special schedule requests allowed Maximum of 5 days RTO, with no more than 2 consecutive days off; no RTO approved on weekends or around holidays Navy blue scrubs required and not provided by hospital Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of assignment acceptance Team-based model used if floated outside primary competency area Compliance deadlines must be met prior to orientation Requirements Active IL RN license required at the time of consideration Minimum 2 years of recent acute care ICU experience Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS COVID vaccination required prior to start; booster not required Must reside within 75 miles of the facility to be considered local Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639016.
