Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Start Date : ASAP
Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : Days — Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM–2 : 30 PM
Call : Every other weekend, 7 : 00 AM–12 : 00 PM
Pay Rate : $55.00 per hour
Position Overview
The Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) provides high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services to inpatients and outpatients under the supervision of a Radiologist and in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards. This role ensures safe and accurate performance of all imaging and radiopharmaceutical procedures while maintaining exceptional patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Operate, calibrate, and maintain nuclear medicine imaging and processing equipment
Perform daily and periodic quality control procedures to ensure compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards
Acquire, analyze, and process diagnostic images for physician interpretation
Maintain accurate and complete patient and procedure documentation
Provide patient education and ensure comfort and safety throughout all procedures
Qualifications
Certification : CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
Licensure : State License as a General Radiographer or Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Registry : ARRT(N) or CNMT required
Education : Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program
Experience : Minimum of 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required
