RN - Progressive Care

As a Progressive Care ( Acute Care Step-down ) Registered Nurse at Presbyterian Hospital, you'll coordinate nursing care – including direct patient care, patient / family education and transitions of care.

Progressive Care units include Acute Medical Step-Down, Cardiac Step-Down, and Neuro Step-Down.

In Progressive Care, there are opportunities for RNs to gain leadership experience through Preceptor, Clinical Practice Leader, Relief Charge and Quality Improvement roles.

Presbyterian Hospital is PHS’s flagship hospital – located in the heart of Albuquerque. As a not-for-profit acute care facility, Presbyterian Hospital is dedicated to the care of its patients and community. Presbyterian Hospital offers a wide range of specialized care – including heart health, women’s health, children’s health and neuroscience care.

The new Progressive Care tower at Presbyterian Hospital features :

• 11 stories and 335,000 square feet
• 144 all-private patient rooms with views
• Healing gardens and tranquil indoor spaces – including several green spaces where staff, patients and their families can rest their minds and refresh.
• Strategically designed, decentralized nurse’s stations that facilitate provider collaboration and access to patient rooms
• Spacious, private wellness rooms for breastfeeding employees
• An employee gym with brand-new fitness equipment

Work schedule :

0.9 FTE (36 hours / week)

Day Shift and Night Shift Available

12-hour Nights, 7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am

12-hour Days, 7 : 00am - 7 : 00pm

Qualifications :

Associate Degree in Nursing or above required.

Registered Nurse-NM

BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
