Responsibilities Work in an acute care setting within the Radiology - CT / X-ray department Unit consists of 1 CT scanner, 1 X-ray room, and 1 DR portable Typical patient load includes approximately 10 CT scans and 5-7 X-rays per day, with a focus on ER exams Handles both CT and X-ray studies as needed, including starting IVs for outpatients Equipment includes GE 16-slice Optima 520 CT, GE Prodius X-ray room, and retrofitted AMX 4 with Conica DR plate Uses Fuji PACS and MEDITECH EMR (experience preferred) Scheduled for 12-hour day shifts : Week 1 Mon / Tues / Fri / Sat 7am-7pm; Week 2 Sun / Mon / Tues 7am-7pm (every other weekend required) No call requirements but may be asked to precept as needed Possible floating to nearby critical access facilities may be required Must not have worked directly (as full or part time, or PRN) for any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year; PRN via outside agencies is considered Dress code requires black scrubs No in-house radiologist present Orientation includes up to 12 hours Holiday coverage required if scheduled during assignment rotation Call outs are strongly discouraged Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent CT technologist experience Active BLS and ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required Active state or compact license required if applicable; pending licenses or certifications are not accepted Experience with ER imaging studies and IV starts for outpatients Must provide two references : one supervisor from the last 12 months, one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630101.
