End Date : February 21, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift : 12-hour day shifts (9 : 00 AM – 9 : 30 PM); includes 2 call shifts per 6-week schedule (call shifts are 13 hours, with onsite arrival within 1 hour if called in); 2-week night rotation required for all travelers

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1980 - $2030

ER RN Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of recent nursing experience in an Emergency Department (ER nurse experience required)

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department following nursing scope of practice and clinical protocols

Implement emergency nursing procedures and evidence-based clinical best practices

Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with providers, patients, and families

Adjust care plans and nursing interventions based on ongoing assessment and patient needs

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care provided

Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to healthcare safety standards and promptly reporting hazards

Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare staff, patients, and families to foster a healing environment

Provide constructive feedback to peers and participate in professional development and ongoing clinical learning
