Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a professional bakery or restaurant environment
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting
- Comfortable multitasking, open to feedback, and willing to ask questions to learn and grow
- Collaborative team player who can also work independently with passion, positivity, and curiosity
- Commitment to clean, organized work habits that meet DOH standards
- Early mornings, holidays, and weekends availability — shifts can start as early as 4 : 00 AM
- Able to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds as needed
- Must be NYC-based and legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Resident or valid visa holder)
About the Role
We’re seeking dedicated morning bakers who will be involved in both production and hands-on bread and pastry work.
Daily responsibilities might include :
Proofing and baking a variety of breads and pastries to perfectionMixing, scaling, and shaping croissant dough, focaccia, sourdough breads, and baguetteLaminating and shaping croissants and other pastriesPreparing and mixing components like cookie doughs, custards, creams, and frangipaneShowing up each day with a positive, team-focused attitude — our space is small, so good vibes matter!Shifts
