Job Summary:
TW Work Solutions Client, a Local Graphics Manufacturer is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair, preventive maintenance (PM), and upkeep of various screen-printing presses and finishing machines, ensuring they operate efficiently. This role also encompasses general building maintenance tasks, contributing to a safe and productive work environment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
· Equipment Maintenance:
· Perform repairs and routine maintenance on screen printing presses and finishing machines to minimize downtime.
· Conduct preventive maintenance checks and services on machinery to prolong equipment lifespan and enhance performance.
· Troubleshooting:
· Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams to diagnose issues effectively.
· Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve wiring problems and mechanical failures in a timely manner.
· Learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment as they are introduced.
· Building Maintenance:
· Carry out preventive maintenance on facility equipment, including compressors, AC units, lighting systems, and plumbing.
· Ensure that all maintenance tasks comply with safety regulations and company standards.
· Assist with facility improvements and upgrades as needed.
· Coordinate with vendors and contractors for a variety of needs.
· Documentation and Reporting:
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
· Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly to management.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
· Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to read electrical diagrams.
· Familiarity with various types of machinery and tools used in maintenance and repair.
Skills:
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance.
· Ability to weld and fabricate metal structures.
· Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
· Strong leadership abilities with the capability to supervise contractors and vendors.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as needed.
· Willingness to work in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.
Additional Duties:
· Helping with production and manufacturing during downtimes. This may include but not limited to; printing, finishing and packaging, etc. as required by management.

Schedule:
8-hour day shift Monday-Friday. On site. Overtime and weekends as needed.
