Physician Extender (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)

Location : NBHC Corry Station, FL

Maxmed Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide services at NBHC Corry Station, FL. This position involves a mix of primary care and readiness duties.

Work Hours

The HCW shall work Monday through Friday, generally from 0700 to 1600, with a 0.5 to 1-hour unpaid meal break. Services will not exceed 80 hours per two-week period.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional care including treatment of common acute conditions, illnesses, and minor trauma within accepted protocols and in collaboration with physicians.
• Coordinate patient care, promote preventive health, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Document patient conditions properly, recognize adverse signs, and react quickly in emergencies.
• Administer medications, prescribe as permitted, and perform general nurse practitioner services.
• Participate in training, meetings, and community outreach activities.
• Perform deployment health screenings and manage related documentation.
