Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our collaborative, high-performing NICU team. Our unit manages a high-acuity, Level III / IV NICU with a dynamic patient population and a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary care.

This position follows a 6-week rotating schedule , primarily consisting of 24-hour shifts , with one week of 12-hour flex day shifts . We also welcome candidates interested in a 24-hour shift-only schedule .

Key Responsibilities

Attend high-risk and routine deliveries

Perform initial and ongoing assessments of neonates

Independently formulate and implement daily care plans

Write H&Ps, daily progress notes, and delivery documentation

Perform credentialed neonatal procedures (as applicable)

Collaborate closely with neonatologists, fellow APPs, nursing staff, and ancillary services

Communicate daily updates and care plans to families

Qualifications

Required :

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

National certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Strong NICU clinical and assessment skills

Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Preferred :

Previous experience in a Level III or IV NICU

Willingness to mentor or train new graduate NNPs
