Production Planner
Manage new order scheduling and date revisions within the ERP system after order entry.
Maintain the production schedule, adjusting for cancellations, changes in priority, or disruptions.
Align schedules with available materials and resources in coordination with Warehouse and Procurement.
Adjust production schedules for holidays, environmental constraints, or unexpected disruptions.
Partner with Production and Engineering to confirm feasibility of schedules.
Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure customer delivery commitments are reflected accurately.
Participate in daily / weekly production planning meetings to review progress, capacity, and conflicts.
Provide planning-related input to management reviews and support preparation of key performance data.
Maintain and update ERP system data, including dates and lead times, ensuring accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related scheduling issues to maintain efficiency.
Track and report scheduling KPIs (backlog aging, on-time delivery, schedule adherence).
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in planning and scheduling.
Escalate systemic planning or material conflicts to the Manufacturing Planner for resolution.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
Support internal audits for planning processes.
Issue or support Corrective Actions when schedule or material conflicts create nonconformities.
Participate in risk assessments and Management of Change activities when planning changes impact delivery or product quality.
Contribute to contingency planning activities related to equipment, supplier, or utility disruptions.
Foster effective communication with internal teams, external organizations, and customers via meetings, emails, and other communication channels.
Adhere to all HSE and Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned to support operational goals.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years' experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP / MRP systems (Oracle, Omega).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in APICS CPIM, Lean, or Six Sigma preferred.
Experience in ISO / API / ASME-compliant manufacturing environments is a plus.
