PM&R Physician - Independent Medical Evaluations

Position Summary : We are on the lookout for a qualified and passionate Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to conduct independent medical assessments for veterans. This role focuses solely on evaluations and does not involve treatment. You will review medical records, perform comprehensive assessments, and complete VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via a secure online portal, aiding the VA in accurate disability determinations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and assess veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
• Conduct thorough, non-treating evaluations of veterans to document current health conditions.
• Complete and submit DBQs based on VA-specific templates to capture relevant medical findings.
• Ensure that all DBQs are complete, accurate, and submitted within 24 hours of the assessment.
• Assess up to four veterans daily.

Schedule : 1 day per month or 2 half days every other week

Compensation : Daily rate of $1,200-$1,400 (based on experience)
