Midas Hospitality is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help oversee our JdV by Hyatt located in Brooklyn, NY. This person will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the Housekeeping and Front Desk departments of the hotel property. Areas of management include - budget, product quality, Heatmap, hotel opening, hiring, training and all aspects of guest service.

What You Will Be Doing :

• Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house.
• Maintain rooms control procedures and reports discrepancies to the Assistant General Manager by using the Rooms Discrepancy Daily Report.
• Issue supplies / goods to staff at beginning of shift in order to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses.
• Respond to all guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain the Hyatt Preventative Maintenance Program within the rooms to ensure they are being kept up to standards on a quarterly basis and the proper documentation is being recorded.
• Covers Front Desk and / or Night Audit shifts
• is able to Open / Close the house and oversee Supervisory staff
• Participate in Manager On Duty coverage for the hotel
