Program Purchasing Analyst II

Location : Southfield, MI, US, 48033

Country / Region : United States

Job Function : Purchasing

Employment Type : Salary

Position Focus :

Responsible for all purchasing pre and post launch activity focusing on the program team, supplier and customer requirements integrating data / quote management, contract negotiations, tool timing, CR / CN process flow, Profile management, complete launch readiness, etc.

Experience :

  • Requires minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Automotive cross-functional experience is a plus
  • Candidates with experience as Commodity Buyers or Component Buyers are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Specific Comments :

  • Extensive work experience, discipline and independence to accomplish successful closure of Purchasing goals
  • Alignment with internal program teams / customers to negotiate contract requirements
  • Ensures data management required to meet program timelines
  • Familiarity with commercial terms and performance to target concepts required
