Job Description:
We are seeking a Clinical Research Psychologist (Psy.D.) to support the psychological and behavioral components of Phase I-IV clinical trials. This role involves administering standardized assessments, monitoring participant psychological outcomes, and ensuring strict adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and trial protocols. This is a part-time position ideal for licensed psychologists with research or clinical trial experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Standardized Psychological Assessment: Administer, score, and interpret validated psychological, cognitive, and behavioral outcome measures (e.g., HAM-D, MINI, cognitive batteries) precisely as outlined in the protocol.
- Participant Monitoring: Track, document, and report psychological responses, adverse events, and protocol deviations.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of assessments, interventions, and study-related communications.
- Work closely with the Principal Investigator, Study Coordinators, Nurses, Pharmacists, and Sponsors to integrate psychological assessments into study workflows.
- Participate in team meetings, safety discussions, and protocol reviews.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or related field.
- Licensed Psychologist or license-eligible (state-dependent).
- Expertise in administering structured clinical interviews and psychological scales.
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical research, human subjects protection, and GCP standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional communication with diverse populations.
