  • Cath Lab Rooms : 2
  • Patient Volume : ~8 cases / day
  • Patient Population : Adults & geriatrics (primary), occasional adolescents
  • Common Diagnoses : Coronary artery disease, coronary arrhythmias, peripheral vascular disease

    • Staffing & Ratios

  • Traveler Requirement : Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
  • Shift : 10-hour days (06 : 30–17 : 00)
  • Call : Required
  • Float : Yes (within hospital needs)
  • Weekends : Every other / third depending on contract
  • Scheduling : Block

    • Orientation

  • Length : ~30 hours
  • Scrubs : Provided

    • Systems & Support

  • Medication System : Pyxis
  • Documentation : EPIC
  • Communication : SBAR
  • Provider Coverage : In-house 24 / 7 (Hospitalists, Intensivists, Anesthesia, NPs, CRNA)
  • Support Services : Pharmacy, respiratory, radiology, RRT, PT, social services, transport, unit secretary

    • Procedures & Skills

  • Cath Lab Procedures : Diagnostic & interventional catheterizations, PCI, stent placement, TAVR, IABP, Impella, EP procedures (ablations, pacemakers, ICDs, mapping, cardioversion), Watchman, valvuloplasty
  • Peripheral / IR Procedures : Angiography, angioplasty, embolization, stent grafts, TIPS, chemoembolization, biopsies, nephrostomy, uterine arterial embolization, thoracentesis
  • Neurovascular Procedures : Carotid / cerebral angiography, stent placement, embolization, thrombolysis, vertebroplasty
  • Vascular Access / Support : Central / PICC / port placement, dialysis graft interventions, sheath removal, vascular closure devices
  • Medications : Antiarrhythmics, vasopressors, thrombolytics, sedation, reversal agents, emergency meds
  • Critical Skills : Hemodynamic monitoring, ACT testing, dysrhythmia interpretation, sedation monitoring, infection prevention, radiation & laser safety

    • Certifications

  • Required : BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS or RCES
  • Preferred : NIHSS, PALS

    • Traveler Information

  • Experience Required : Minimum 2 years Cath Lab (interventional & EP experience strongly preferred)
  • First-Time Traveler Accepted : No (must have solid prior Cath Lab experience)
  • Other Notes : High-acuity interventional & diagnostic workload, must be comfortable with call coverage
