Description :

This position requires a Float RN to work in a variety of patient care settings.

The role includes responsibilities for both medical-surgical and telemetry patients.

Common patient diagnoses include septic, COPD, CHF, post-operative, general medical-surgical, and post-operative plastics.

Required drips and medications include Heparin drips, magnesium, and potassium riders.

The nurse must possess strong critical thinking skills and demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality care.

The Float RN should be adaptable and able to maintain composure during challenging situations.

This position may require working weekends, holidays, and being on-call.

The nurse should demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills when collaborating with the healthcare team.
