Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse - Critical Care

Description :
The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers.
They ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high-quality, safe patient care.
This role operates within a clinical environment governed by Nurse Managers and other leaders.
The practice framework is supported through a shared governance model.
Evidence-based practice and research guide the framework for practice.
The RN Clinical Nurse is expected to be licensed and knowledgeable while upholding the standards set by the relevant regulations.
They implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards established by professional nursing associations.
As a member of the patient services team, the RN Clinical Nurse maintains the voice of the patient while adhering to system policies and service excellence goals.
Core Responsibilities :
The RN Clinical Nurse performs the Nursing Process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
They use evidence-based practice and critical thinking to provide individualized care.
Relationship-based patient-centered care is provided, reflecting an understanding of diverse population characteristics.
The RN Clinical Nurse partners with patients and significant others to set and achieve goals.
They practice using current clinical standards and coordinate safe quality patient care.
They are involved in interdisciplinary communication methods and promote a respectful clinical environment.
This position requires participation in performance improvement initiatives and collaboration with all team members.
The RN Clinical Nurse completes ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education.
They serve as a preceptor or mentor for other nursing professionals, ensuring a qualified workforce.
Participation in evidence-based practice and nursing research efforts is expected.
The RN Clinical Nurse supports efficient use of resources and participates in developing protocols for best practice outcomes.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Compliance with all policies, standards of work, and codes of conduct is mandatory.
