Hematology / Oncology Physician at Integrity Locums summary :

A Hematology / Oncology Physician is needed for locum to permanent coverage, providing outpatient care in a Free-Standing Cancer Center. The role involves managing a caseload of 10-15 patients daily, with responsibilities split between 20% hematology and 80% oncology, requiring weekend on-call duties. The ideal candidate should be board eligible or board certified in medical oncology and / or hematology with experience in radiation oncology.

Schedule

8 hour days + On call

7 days of call including one weekend, 1 : 4 (primarily critical lab calls)

Full time or part time

Clinical Details

127 beds, Level III trauma

20% Hematology, 80% Oncology

10-15 patients per day

Outpatient at Free-Standing Cancer Center

No inpatient consults, only outpatient clinic visits and collaboration with infusion

New 19 chair infusion room

Onsite mixing pharmacy

Nurse navigation

Radiation Oncology onsite

Requirements

Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and / or Hematology

Active OR License or willing to obtain

BLS or willing to obtain

Has ties to Oregon or has lived in OR at some point

Experience practicing Radiation Oncology with a strong record (or an excellent recent graduate) - Preferred

Open to new Fellow graduates as far out as 2025

Call

1 : 4 call (primarily critical lab calls)
