Job descriptionAnalyze claims and authorization data to identify trends and calculate the cost of care Collaborate with peers to gather requirements and develop action plans for time-sensitive projects Utilize programming skills to explore and interpret large volumes of data Communicate technical concepts and insights to internal and external stakeholders Perform statistical analysis and create data reports / dashboards to support business objectives Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or healthcare focus 1-3 years of professional experience in claims-based healthcare analytics Strong proficiency in SQL, SAS, and Microsoft Excel Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of deriving insights from data Master's Degree in a quantitative field or data science Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement methodologies Understanding of healthcare claims and billing differences Experience with programming languages such as Python or R Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI
