Job descriptionAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program Current Respiratory Therapist (RT) licensure in Montana Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Experience in an acute care setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction Nestled in the heart of Montana, Great Falls offers a unique blend of outdoor adventure and urban amenities Explore the majestic Missouri River, providing opportunities for fishing, boating, and scenic hikes Visit the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, or discover the rich history of the area at the C.M. Full-Time Respiratory Therapist (RT)
Location : Great Falls, Montana
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a reputable healthcare facility in Great Falls, Montana , to find a Full-Time Respiratory Therapist (RT) . This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-centered environment where your skills can make a significant impact.
Job Description :
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with respiratory illnesses or breathing difficulties
- Perform diagnostic tests, including pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas analysis
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on proper techniques for managing respiratory conditions
- Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of respiratory equipment
- Provide emergency care as needed, including CPR and life-saving interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
