Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • Weekly guaranteed hours : 36 or 48 hours (must be indicated on submission form)

    • \n

  • 13-week assignment length

    • \n

  • Work weekends as required by facility

    • \n

  • No call requirements

    • \n

  • Float on a rotational basis

    • \n

  • Patient ratios : Days 1 : 5-1 : 6, nights 1 : 6-1 : 7 (ratios not guaranteed)

    • \n

  • 1 year of telemetry inpatient experience required

    • \n

  • Current RN license required (must meet Missouri licensure criteria)

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (may obtain prior to start)

    • \n

  • Work with medical, medical telemetry, and observation patients

    • \n

  • Use equipment including telemetry monitors, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps

    • \n

  • Electronic medical records system : EPIC

    • \n

  • Dress code : Black scrubs only

    • \n

  • 24-bed unit

    • \n

  • Position is auto-offer

    • \n

  • RTO must be made up on the back end and will not be approved in first week

    • \n

  • Can request only 1 holiday RTO per assignment

    • \n

  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 - April 1

    • \n

  • Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients, and ability to push / pull up to 50 lbs
