HumanHire is partnered with a top ranked National Law Firm to find a Real Estate Legal Assistant to support the firms growing team in Tampa!
The Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing high-level transactional and administrative support to the Real Estate practice group, focusing on managing complex real estate matters, conducting land use / zoning research, and coordinating essential documents and deadlines.

Responsibilities :
Complex Transactional Document Management : Take the lead in formatting, proofreading, and coordinating the execution, notarization, and recording of sophisticated real estate contracts, agreements, and closing documentationLand Use & Regulatory Filings : Directly support land use attorneys by conducting targeted zoning research and managing the preparation and submission of zoning applications, permit tracking, and municipal filingsCritical Deadline and Matter Oversight : Proactively manage attorney calendars, tracking key transaction dates and deadlines, while also assisting in new matter opening, conflict checks, and drafting engagement lettersDocument Management System (DMS) Integrity : Ensure the accurate and timely entry of all relevant legal documents into the firm's DMS to maintain organized and accessible case filesProfessional Stakeholder Communication : Act as a professional liaison, communicating effectively with clients, governmental agencies, and other third parties involved in real estate transactionsQualifications :
Familiarity with core commercial real estate transactional processes, including purchase / sale agreements, commercial leasing, and closing procedures, typically acquired through law school coursework or clinicsStrong working knowledge of land use and zoning research methodologies, including the ability to interpret agency regulations and assist with complex government filings and permit trackingExceptional attention to detail, project management capabilities, and discretion necessary to manage multiple high-priority deadlines and sensitive, confidential information simultaneouslyIf you are interested, please apply to this posting for immediate consideration and a recruiter will be in contact within 48 hours if qualified.
