Union Concrete is a longstanding family owned heavy civil contractor with an extensive fleet of construction equipment.

UCC's heavy equipment mechanics repair, maintain and rebuild this extensive fleet. UCC's mechanics all work on a wide range of types of equipment from all different manufacturers. Position is primarily in at UCC's shop in West Seneca, NY but some field work will be required. This is a full-time year round position that includes some mandatory overtime and weekend work.

UCC's heavy equipment mechanics are union with Operators Local #17. UCC pays all its heavy equipment mechanics under the pay and benefit scale of the heavy highway agreement.

Hourly Pay Rate : $43.39

Hourly Benefit Rate : $36.46

Total Hourly Package $79.85

Benefits provided by the union benefit funds include full healthcare, health reimbursement account, two pensions, training and supplemental unemployment

You must possess the following skills and experience for this position :

• Be a current member of the Internation Union of Operating Engineers Local 17 or join if hired
• At least 10 years experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
• Safety conscious
• Must own tools
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to work weekends
