We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant (Temp-to-Hire) to manage the company's accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and payroll functions. This role ensures accurate and timely financial operations, supports month-end closings, and maintains compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- This is a full-time, hybrid position located in our Pleasanton Headquarters. We require an in-office presence of at least 3 days per week.
Responsibilities :
Accounts Payable (AP)
Process and verify vendor invoices, expense reports, and purchase ordersManage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepanciesSchedule and prepare payments (checks, ACH, wires) in accordance with cash flow requirementsMaintain accurate AP aging reportsAccounts Receivable (AR)
Generate customer invoices and ensure timely collectionsApply customer payments and reconcile AR balancesMonitor overdue accounts and communicate with clients for payment follow-upMaintain accurate AR aging reportsBank Reconciliations & General Accounting
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliationsRecord journal entries and ensure proper account codingAssist with month-end and year-end closingsSupport financial statement preparation and auditsPayroll
Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on timeVerify timecards, deductions, and employee changesMaintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax and labor lawsCoordinate with HR on employee benefits, reimbursements, and new hiresQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field4–7 years of accounting experience, including AP / AR and payrollStrong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practicesExperience with QuickBooks, RAMP, or similar ERP / accounting systemsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting toolsHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time management skills
