Location : Sioux Falls, South Dakota (Zip : 57105)

Assignment Type : Travel RN job

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care, Cardiac Cath Lab

Start Date : December 1, 2025

End Date : March 2, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week

Shift : 4 x 10-hour shifts / week (start times : 5 : 30am, 6 : 30am, or 7 : 30am)

On Call : 1 call / week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks; 30-minute response time

Scrubs : Ceil Blue (provided)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,840 - $3,050

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or compact state

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (NLN or AACN preferred)

Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred

Ability to meet 30-minute response time for on-call shifts

Must badge in and out at facility

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

Administer and monitor conscious sedation during cardiac procedures

Circulate in a sterile environment and assist with cardiac and vascular procedures, including :

Left and right heart catheterizations

PCIs (Percutaneous Coronary Interventions)

Pacemaker insertions (temporary and permanent)

ICDs (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators)

EP (Electrophysiology) procedures

TEEs (Transesophageal Echocardiograms) and cardioversions

Venous ablations and peripheral vascular angiograms

Operate advanced medical equipment : Pyxis, Philips XIM, Epic, Xcelera, ultrasounds, Angiojets, EKOS machines, Acist contrast injection system

Maintain a 1 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio for optimal cardiac care

Participate in a comprehensive orientation program tailored to your Cath Lab RN experience
