This position is 100% onsite at the Needham location. Key responsibilities for the Sr. Patient Experience Representative include demonstrating effective and empathetic customer service that supports departmental and hospital operations. They respond to patient needs and escalated concerns, ensuring a high-quality experience and timely resolution. They greet, screen, and direct patients, families, and visitors; monitor clinic flow to optimize the patient experience. They register new patients and verify demographic, insurance, and referral information. They obtain authorizations and referrals, enter billing and treatment codes, reconcile payments, and prepare deposits. They schedule patient appointments and procedures across providers and departments. They may rotate into call center roles, communicate with referring providers and practices to facilitate patient management. They train, orient, and cross-train staff on departmental systems, policies, and procedures. They enroll patients and caregivers in the patient portal and ensure staff is informed of customer service and IT system updates. They participate in and contribute to departmental initiatives, recommending and implementing process improvements.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED required and a minimum of 1 year of administrative, front desk, or related healthcare experience required.
