Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts.
• Coordinate with financial institutions and cross-departmental communication to resolve discrepancies.
• Support capital investment processes by collaborating with project managers.
• Execute monthly depreciation runs and calculate quarterly capitalized interest.
• Assist with customer insurance documentation by working with third-party providers.
• Provide management with financial analyses related to cash flow and operational reporting.
• Record various month-end journal entries, including payroll, asset transactions, banking activity, and tax-related entries.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for a variety of balance sheet accounts.
• Participate in special projects and assignments as needed.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work environment with the opportunity to work Monday through Thursday in the office and from home on Fridays. The corporate headquarters provides a nice office setting. You will be part of a great team in an engaging office environment.

This is a contract position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
