Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Operating Room position requiring at least one year of OR experience and a current RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Pediatric Operating Room of a hospital setting
  • Care for a diverse pediatric surgical patient population
  • Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 10 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM with day shifts
  • Shift assignments are 8 hours per day, totaling 40 hours per week
  • Responsibilities include providing perioperative care, assisting with surgical procedures, monitoring patient status, and administering medications
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and the surgical team
  • Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff
  • Not open to candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility
  • Returning travelers may only extend once for a total of 26 weeks before requiring a 6-month separation

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a compact multistate RN license (eNLC)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of one year of Operating Room nursing experience required
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN or higher preferred
  • Some computer skills required
